Reuniting lost and found animals
And Networking Until We Find Their Humans
Lead a Team
You’re an all rounder, with an hour or two to spare each day for strategic active online networking. You’re able to lend support and offer direction to your team. Your values are aligned with the Animal Lifeline mandate and objectives.
You Can Impact
Get Involved - Become a PAL!
You’re crafty and creative with an entrepreneurial streak. You have original ideas and the capacity to act on them. Animal Lifeline favours social entrepreneurialism to fund crucial admin and process expenses and cover basic costs.
You have a safe, secure space, patience and love to give. If you have a spare room (cats) and/or an outdoor secure space for dogs (indoor sleeping) you can save a life. Found animals often need a place of safety while we network to find their humans.
You’re persuasive and confident – and your glass is at least always half-full. In order to be sustainable and remain relevant, non-profits need to create revenue streams.
At Animal Lifeline we know that prevention is key. We are proudly pro-life and believe in the mass sterilisation of all companion animals. We consistently inform and educate the public around positive pet-parenting and preventing mishaps and animals becoming lost. Accidents do, still happen and pets can become lost despite our best efforts and their owner’s best intentions..
Using strategic networking techniques and best-practice processes, we aim to reunite lost pets with their owners and thereby reduce the number of animals surrendered to shelters, animal welfare and the SPCA.
Found animals are placed in foster care while we network for their owners. If we are unable to find an animal's owner following due process within the legislated 10 day claim period, we network to rehome the animal through our extensive rehoming process. All animals are treated for parasites, vet-checked, vaccinated and sterilised prior to adoption. Our foster parents are vetted and stringent home and reference checks are applied prior to rehoming.
Together, we can impact the unnecessary suffering of our animals !
